Wow. I have had good experiences at my other banks, but
Wow. I have had good experiences at my other banks, but Central Pacific has been a nightmare. Poor customer service, and charged me $52 for their error, and have not responded to my concerns. Avoid - give your money to someone who appreciates your trust.

Small Bank in Hawaii by Glenn F. at InsiderPages
Actually it merged with another small bank recently. Its noted for its extremely friendly tellers and very low minimum checking account in which there are no periodic fees charged. Ive found the bank to be very flexible and helpful, in such cases as the time I kept losing my PIN number in which they didnt complain but quickly got me a new one several times in a row.
