We have used First Hawaiian Bank's trust services to set up both revocable and irrevocable trusts. They worked very well with our insurance agent and legal counsel. Very dependable and highly recommended.

We have used the services of BOH's private client banking for the past 8 years and could not be more pleased. They are responsive, responsible and will go out of their way to assist their clients. C. Yamashita has especially been terrific. We highly recommend them.

Small Bank in Hawaii by Glenn F. at InsiderPages

Actually it merged with another small bank recently. Its noted for its extremely friendly tellers and very low minimum checking account in which there are no periodic fees charged. Ive found the bank to be very flexible and helpful, in such cases as the time I kept losing my PIN number in which they didnt complain but quickly got me a new one several times in a row.

Super Friendly

Central Pacific is a nice local bank. They have great personal bankers and are super friendly. We have a few loans with them and the online banking makes them one of our favoriites.

Good Local Bank

I like Bank of Hawaii. I have should these folks for a while. They have good customer service and are a good local bank establishment that has been around for a long time with a proven track record. I have no complaints.

Can't beat this bank by Richard G. at InsiderPages

Over the years I've had accounts at most of the banks that have done business in Hawaii. By far, the best full service local bank is American Savings, which has many branches on all islands. Checkout their website, asbhawaii.com, and find a branch near you.
